The Digital Marketing was first introduced in
the 1990s, but it has origins in the mid-1980s when the Soft-Ad
Group (now Channel Net), established advertising campaigns for automobile
companies. In these campaigns, people would send in reader reply cards found in
magazines and get in return floppy disks that included multi-media content
supporting various cars and presenting free test drives.

Digital marketing became more stylish during the 2000s to 2010s; the production of devices' capability access digital media at any given time has led to much growth of digital advertising. The figures show that during 2012 to 2013, digital marketing was a growing field.
